Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Beyond the Bell Leadership, a service provided by Beyond the Bell Leadership, LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who May Use the Service

The service is intended for adult educators, school administrators, instructional coaches, and school organizations. Students may not create accounts or directly log in unless Beyond the Bell Leadership, LLC later provides a student-facing experience with appropriate school authorization and required legal safeguards.

2. Educational Use

Beyond the Bell Leadership supports lesson planning, instructional materials, teacher observation workflows, coaching support, school data review, and related educational planning. The service is an instructional support tool and is not a replacement for professional educator judgment. Users are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving AI-generated or app-generated content before using it with students.

3. Student Data and School Responsibilities

Users may enter limited student data, including student names and test scores, when needed for instructional planning, Tier II or Tier III support, IEP-aligned planning, English Learner support, and related educational purposes. Users must not enter highly sensitive personal information such as home addresses, Social Security numbers, financial information, immigration status, medical records, or other information not needed for instruction.

Users and school organizations are responsible for following their school, district, state, and federal policies when entering student information. School organizations are responsible for obtaining parent or guardian consent when required by law or district policy.

4. Curriculum, Frameworks, and Uploaded Content

Users may upload or enter standards, lesson details, school-approved teacher performance frameworks, textbook names, objectives, vocabulary, and instructional planning information. Users may not upload copyrighted textbook pages, worksheets, curriculum materials, or other protected content unless they have the legal right and school authorization to do so. Textbook content is not intended to be stored in the app.

5. Ownership and Service License

Users and school organizations retain ownership of lesson plans, instructional materials, school content, and student data they provide or create through the service, subject to any school or district policies that apply. Beyond the Bell Leadership, LLC receives a limited license to host, process, display, and use that content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.

6. Acceptable Use

Users may not use the service to create, upload, or distribute harmful, discriminatory, unlawful, harassing, inappropriate, misleading, or non-educational content. Users may not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, scrape, misuse, or gain unauthorized access to the service or another user's account.

7. School Administration

School principals or authorized school administrators may approve, adjust, manage, or remove roles and access for users connected to their school. Beyond the Bell Leadership, LLC may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create security risk, misuse student data, or interfere with the service.

8. Payments

The service may offer monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, and school or district contract pricing. Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be provided at purchase or in the applicable school or district agreement.

9. Service Changes

Beyond the Bell Leadership, LLC may add, change, pause, or discontinue features as the service grows and improves. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes that affect school or user workflows.

10. De-Identified Data

Beyond the Bell Leadership, LLC may use de-identified or anonymized usage data to improve product performance, usability, and instructional support features, as long as no student, teacher, school, or user can reasonably be identified.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Beyond the Bell Leadership, LLC does not guarantee that generated content will be error-free, complete, aligned to every district requirement, or appropriate for every classroom context. Users are responsible for reviewing outputs before use.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beyond the Bell Leadership, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Nevada, unless another venue is required by an applicable school or district agreement.
