FAQ & Support
Answers for teachers, administrators, and school buyers.
Use this page to understand accounts, student access, school setup, privacy-minded workflows, and how the two Beyond the Bell Leadership tools fit together.
Do students need accounts?
No. Students do not need accounts for this version of Beyond the Bell Leadership. Teachers can use the Teacher Lesson Planner to create student-facing materials and presentation slides without requiring student logins.
Can teachers buy individually?
Yes. Teachers can purchase an individual yearly Teacher Lesson Planner account. This is the best path for educators who want planning, materials, assessments, and student presentation support for their own classroom.
Can schools buy both tools?
Yes. School site licenses can include both the Teacher Lesson Planner and the Teacher Evaluation Tool so teachers, administrators, coaches, and support staff can work from connected planning and observation workflows.
What data is stored?
The platform may store account information, role, school affiliation, lesson plans, objectives, standards, vocabulary, instructional notes, observation notes, and school-selected setup details. It should not collect unnecessary personal information such as student addresses, social security numbers, or unrelated family information.
Can we use our evaluation framework?
Yes. Authorized administrators can use the school or district’s selected teaching framework so observation feedback, report language, and coaching next steps stay aligned to the expectations teachers already use.
How does onboarding work?
New users create an account, choose their role, and search for their school. Teachers are routed toward the Teacher Lesson Planner. Administrators, coaches, and other approved school users are routed toward the Teacher Evaluation Tool. Principals or authorized administrators can approve or adjust roles for school access.
How are privacy and student data handled?
Beyond the Bell Leadership is designed around FERPA-conscious workflows, role-based access, data minimization, and school-controlled setup. Educators should review AI-generated content before using it with students.
What if our school needs purchasing or privacy review?
Use the demo request or school quote form. School conversations can include educator count, admin seats, evaluation framework setup, onboarding needs, purchasing timeline, and privacy review questions.
