Privacy Notice

Effective May 19, 2026

This Privacy Notice explains how Beyond the Bell Leadership, LLC collects, uses, protects, and deletes information in connection with Beyond the Bell Leadership.

1. Our Commitment to Student Privacy

Beyond the Bell Leadership is designed for responsible school use. Student data is used only to support educational services, instructional planning, differentiated instruction, teacher support, and school-authorized workflows. We do not sell student data. We do not use student data for advertising. Student data will not be shared or reproduced in any form except as needed to provide the service, comply with law, protect the service, or follow a verified school-authorized request.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as name, email address, role, school affiliation, login method, and account settings. We may collect school workflow information such as lesson plans, objectives, standards, vocabulary, instructional notes, teacher performance frameworks uploaded by authorized administrators, textbook names, observation notes, and school-selected configuration details.

When needed for instructional planning, the service may process limited student information such as student names and test scores. The service is not intended to collect home addresses, Social Security numbers, financial information, immigration status, medical records, or other highly sensitive personal information unrelated to instruction.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide lesson planning, instructional materials generation, Tier II and Tier III scaffolding, IEP-aligned planning support, English Learner support, observation workflows, school data tools, account access, role management, customer support, security, and service improvement.

4. AI and Instructional Content

The service may use AI-supported tools to help educators create lesson plans, instructional materials, feedback, and related educational content. Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using it with students. Student data should be entered only when appropriate, school-authorized, and necessary for instructional planning.

5. School Authorization and Consent

Schools, districts, and authorized school leaders are responsible for ensuring that use of the service complies with school policy, district policy, state law, FERPA, COPPA where applicable, and any required parent or guardian consent. When a school organization uses the service, the school principal or authorized administrator may approve roles, manage school access, and request deletion of school-associated data.

6. AI Transparency and Student Privacy Safeguards

Built with AI transparency and student privacy safeguards for schools navigating emerging state AI privacy laws. AI-assisted materials include clear disclosure, are based on teacher-provided instructional inputs, require teacher review, and are generated without student personal information.

7. Sharing Information

We may share information with service providers only as needed to operate, secure, host, maintain, or improve the service. These providers must use information only for the services they provide to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the security or integrity of the service, or in response to a verified school-authorized request.

8. De-Identified Data

We may use de-identified or anonymized usage data to improve product quality, usability, and instructional support features, as long as no student, teacher, user, or school can reasonably be identified.

9. Security

We design our privacy and security practices to support FERPA-aligned school use, including access controls, role-based workflows, data minimization, and safeguards appropriate for student information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.

10. Data Deletion

Users, schools, and authorized administrators may request deletion of their data by contacting us. We will delete data upon verified request, subject to legal, security, backup, contractual, or school record obligations that may apply.

11. Adult Educator Accounts

The service is intended for adult educators and school organizations. Students are not intended to create direct accounts at this time.

12. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice as the service grows. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users or school organizations.
