About the founder

Built by an educator who knows the work does not end when the bell rings.

Beyond the Bell Leadership is the brainchild of Dr. Francisco Trujillo, a current assistant principal and school leader with 18 years in education, a Master's in Education in Advanced Teaching and Leadership, and an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership.

Current role Assistant Principal

School leader supporting instruction, school systems, teacher growth, and student achievement.

Education background 18 years in education

Classroom teaching, dean work, elementary leadership, and middle school leadership.

Teaching leadership M.Ed. in Advanced Teaching and Leadership

Grounded in instructional practice, teacher support, and the daily realities of classroom improvement.

Organizational leadership Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership

Focused on systems, leadership, and the kind of school improvement work that makes tools useful.

Why this exists

Schools collect a lot of information. The right tool can help that information actually support instruction.

After years in education, Dr. Trujillo saw the same tension from both sides of the work: administrators needed hours to write meaningful observation and evaluation reports, while teachers needed clearer guidance for navigating performance frameworks and improving instruction.

Beyond the Bell Leadership was created to make that work more useful. Evaluation evidence should help principals identify real professional development needs, not just fill time. Lesson planning should help teachers create strong activities tied to objectives, standards, student needs, and classroom evidence.

The goal is simple: help school teams reclaim time, strengthen instruction, and keep every decision pointed toward student achievement.

Why “Beyond the Bell”

Educators’ brains do not shut off at dismissal.

Some of the best thinking happens after the bells have rung and students have left for the day. That is when teachers reflect, leaders connect patterns, and school teams start solving tomorrow’s problems. Beyond the Bell Leadership is built for that real educator rhythm.

Help teachers feel supported

Teachers should see the value of lesson planning because the tool helps them create meaningful activities, scaffolds, and student materials they can actually use.

Give leaders time back

Administrators should be able to write stronger reports, organize evidence, and identify professional development needs without losing hours to paperwork.

Keep students first

Every workflow exists for one reason: helping students continue growing academically through stronger planning, feedback, and instructional support.

The heart of the work

Technology should make instructional leadership feel more human, not more complicated.

Beyond the Bell Leadership is built to help educators feel helped, not replaced. It connects planning, observation, feedback, and professional learning so schools can spend more energy on what matters most: student growth.
